It is always a good idea to fill in a route plan for any walk that you do, and leave it with a responsible person back at “base”. Leave instructions with them as to when to call for help if you don’t contact them. Below is an image of the route plan that I use. I have an Excel file I input into, and it works out the estimated time, using Naismiths rule (adding 10 minutes for every 100 metres ascent or descent). I also add a 15 minute break every 2 hours and an hours break in the middle of the day. This may seem excessive, but it also allows you to make up time at the end of the day, or to take it easier.
I am happy to input your route into my route plan for a small fee. Just send me a map of your route, and I will work out the route plan and send it back to you.
